I take on a limited number of commissioned paintings each year, working in landscapes and still life, in oil on panel or canvas. I don't take on pet or portrait commissions.
How it works
Get in touch with what you have in mind, whether that's a specific place, a photograph, or an idea you'd like to talk through. We'll discuss it by call or email until we've settled on a clear brief, and I'll send you a quote.
Once you accept the quote, I ask for a 50% deposit to begin. I'll share progress photos as I work, so you can see the painting take shape. Painting typically takes around two to four weeks (depending on size), plus drying time before shipping. The remaining 50% is due on completion, before shipping, with shipping charged separately.

Pricing
Commissions start at R2,000 for a 24 x 24 cm piece, priced by size. Get in touch for a quote based on your specific size and subject.
Plein air commissions
If you'd like a painting made on location rather than from a photograph, I'm available to travel. Travel and accommodation are charged in addition to the painting itself.
