Forest #2

Description

During the heat of the summer months in Stanford, finding somewhere to shady to paint is a good idea. During this past summer, I called up some farmer friends and asked for permission to paint in the forests on their farms. I painted this one on my cousin’s farm where a poplar forest provided a cool space, with interesting light dancing through the grove of trees.
