OPEN STUDIO + SALE: 1-8 oCT ’21
I’m moving, so the plan is to have a Studio Moving Sale.
I’m getting ready for a move across the village. Things are being packed, and unpacked, and put in the Stanford Animal Welfare Shop box, etc. I’m downsizing, and moving into a space more realistic to my single status. I’m going to be much closer to the centre of the village, and to the river. I can’t wait for moving day!
But in the meanwhile, I’d love NOT to be taking a whole lot of finished artworks with me. There is not going to be as much storage space in the cottage and it would help to make some extra cash to pay the moving man.
Open Studio 1st – 8th October
My studio will be open to visitors daily from the 1st to the 8th of October from 10am to 3pm. Come along and have a browse and chat.
If you come to my Open Studio, please be in touch to let me know you are coming and wear a mask.
What’s in the sale?
Pretty much everything! Lots of originals on canvas and paper, some prints of older works.
10% off all recent work in my studio (2021)
25% off all 2020 work in my studio
35% off all older work in my studio
There will also be some original illustrations and sketches on paper from the archives, for sale from R100 each.
Some work, paintings on reclaimed woodwork projects and ceramics, for example, will only be available from my studio and not online.
10% of the proceeds of the sale will go to saws
I wanted to give something back to a special place that my studio assistants come from, so 10% of all proceeds of the sale will go to Stanford Animal Welfare Society.
When? How? Why?
The sale runs from 8am on Friday 1st October to 5pm on Friday 8th October 2012. (South African time – Central African Time)
There will be an online preview of all the work for sale for subscribers to my email list only, and an opportunity to place orders 24 hours before the official opening of the sale.
If you aren’t subscribed to my list yet, here’s another reason to take the plunge: Subscribers get free shipping within South Africa on any order, no matter how big or small. You won’t regret it, and if you do, there’s always the unsubscribe link.
