A commission is an invitation for me to translate your cherished memory—whether it’s the light on a Tuscan hillside, a child’s favourite corner of the garden, or the vast space of the Karoo—into a tangible, lasting heirloom.

I am a colorist first. I don’t just paint a photo; I translate the emotional truth of a moment using a dedicated study of hue, value, and light. Your reference photos provide the scene; my process provides the feeling. If the light in a memory moved you, I can translate it.
I happily accept commissions from local South African collectors and international clients alike. All shipping and process details are managed professionally.
How it Works:
Phase 1: Your Memory & The Quote (1-3 Days)
You begin by completing the Commission Enquiry Form below. I will then send a specific quote based on your requirements. Your commission is secured upon confirmation and receipt of the 50% non-refundable deposit.
Pricing starts at R3,000 / approximately US $200.
Phase 2: The Composition & Light Study (1 Week)
Using your reference photos, I will create a Value Study in Pencil. This is a critical step where we confirm the composition, design, and the dramatic effect of the light before any colour is applied. This ensures the foundational structure of your memory is perfect.
Phase 3: Creation & Delivery (4-8 Weeks)
I then complete the final oil painting. Upon completion, I send a final photograph. Once the remaining 50% is paid, your painting is professionally packaged and shipped worldwide via a trusted courier service.
