Karoo

July saw me heading to Graaff-Reinet for the first time to paint and to meet some important new people in my life.

This piece was painted en plein air on the trip, and is the beginning of a new series of Karoo paintings, centred around Graaff-Reinet.

I will be heading back to the area in the next few months permanently, so expect to see more here soon.
