Going on a tip from fellow Stanford artist Su Wolf, I spent a morning painting at the Misty Mountains Farm Stall. These mountains (the Kleinriviersberge) run from Hermanus to Stanford along the R43 and are a source of consistent inspiration to me.

The Misty Mountain Farm Stall (and Restaurant in another building facing towards Stanford) is a friendly place with delicious Portuguese food and good coffee.
